Hues of red and orange would be pulling into glorious prominence, pushing away the purple and dark blue hues of the retreating night. Morning would be in the process of solidifying its full arrival, peeking and pulling itself up and over the eastern horizon with its breeze flowing upon the land, permeated the air with earthy tones that resonated the mountain air mixed along with the soft ambiance of the wet dew. Movement would begin in the lower hilly valley where Yuki’s village was located. The residents of the city would be charged with greeting a new day and performing whatever menial tasks needed to be performed during it.
In the timeline of the world’s events, it wouldn’t be long before Battousai would leave this area in order to head elsewhere in seeking the breadcrumbs of a new lead. Before then, however, he pledged to give his student at least the first tastes of her practice, thus she would have something to work upon until he came back.
Having woken up early with the sun light, Battousai would be the lead persona to awaken into this world. He would garb himself in black clothing with a white flowing scarf that trailed his movements almost as a cape with both of his blades equipped.
Both his students were sleeping under the same roof, which made finding them conveniently easy in the morning times. It would be pretty early when Battousai would have awoken Sera from her slumbers and given her instructions to get ready for the day and to meet him at the meadowlands east of the village outskirts. From there, he would leave her to her privacy and proceed to the area of question. In arriving into the green and flowing grasslands, he would find a central location and sit on his knees, with the grasses reaching as high as his arms, and proceed to remain in this meditative manner until the arrival of his student.

So thus, Sera was awoken by Battousai before she usually arose. And she thought she was an early riser. The morning light was beautiful as it inched its way across the room from the window. Sera stretched her arms out and then let them fall. She was getting use to the absence of her wings. The morning muscle stretch was different to say the least. But they would get in the way of fighting not to mention draw attention to her.
It took only a few moments to clean herself up and begin to get dressed. Her face was a mask of seriousness as she dressed in a plain simple tunic and pants that had been give to her. Something that was easy to move in as well as not too constricting. Picking up the brush, she pulled that draping mane of bright red up into a single ponytail since it would be a training day. The ribbon that held up her hair was as black as the night, tied tight in a bow, its two ends hanging as long as her ponytail. Two black streaks amid the fire. Dropping the brush, it went right back where she picked it up from. Quickly she pulled on the black boots she had come with. As stood and buckled on her sword, her eyes burned with a determination, glowing a soft red in the growing sunlight. She was as ready as she was ever going to be. A memory came to light of doing these same thing before, but in a different place. Crystalline structures and beauty beyond words were there for a moment and then gone. Shaking her head as the thought left, Sera began to move out of the house and towards the point east of the village.
She approached the the solitary figure in the meadowlands east of the village, he was difficult to see in the tall grasses. She did find him and it was not too long after he had awoken her. She did not take as much time as most women to get ready. This was a training session, not a visiting the king kind of thing. Her eyes glanced over him as she stood ready for anything. Judging by how fast he had moved during the almost fight between her and Yuki, she should not assume anything in this session. Seeing him there in meditation, she remained quiet and waited for his acknowledgement.

Battousai would sense Sera before she reached him. As she approaches him, his eyes would open with him looking straight forward before waiting for her to come to a halt. With that, he would press upon his knees and his form would rise into a full and erect stance after which he would turn to her and judge that she was ready to begin her training. He begins by telling her, “I will train you in a similar way as I did Yuki. You should seek to surpass him… in that time he was about the same strength as you are now… this is not intended to be fun, but to gain results.”
Moving right into the things, he would approach Sera and explain, “I will teach you the basics and you will teach you your own style.” His gaze would look down to the sword that she had brought with her and he would reach out and request that she would hand it to him. After she was to do so, he would take the sword by its tip and casually fling it several yards behind him. After spinning several times it would land tip first in the ground, buried amongst the tall grass of the meadow with its hilt end protruding. Holding out his right hand, his lips would shift beneath the lower face mask that kept half of his visage hidden. A single ray of light would generate in his hand and elongate to the point where a coarse object was created. A short sword, that appeared to be more suitable for her, is formed from the light and then solidified. It would be fully hardened with no cloth hilt, but it would be the basic form of a short sword with the only difference being it would be much heavier than a normal sword the same shape and size. It was simply because a lot of mass was packed into a small area. Battousai would hand over the blade to her and comment, “use this for now.”

As he stood and turned to face her, she watched him thinking. Her red gaze was sizing him up. He spoke and she listened, the wind picking up and tugging at her hair and ribbon in the mean time. The meadows around them waving gently as his words issued forth from behind that mask. So she was suppose to surpass Yuki. A very good goal that she could handle. He had already showed how foolish and immature he could be. A simple nod in affirmation was all he recieved. Speech was not necessary at this time. Plus she assumed he preferred the quiet. And if the student spoke, then the student would not hear the lesson. But she did understand that this was not for fun, this was training.
She stood still as she watched him approach her. The only movement was from the wind gently blowing the tips of the ponytail to the side. A perfect stillness that most humans lacked. When he motioned for the sword at her side, she did not hesitate and moved only to hand it to him. As he grabbed the tip of the weapon and flung itaway from the. Her eyes watched it flip end of end before finally coming to a rest, deep in the grass, with its hilt protruding. Yes he was more the good. Those red orbs looked back to him as he began to create the short sword. It had a solid hilt and it looked to be a bit on the heavy side. As he command her to use this one, she reached for it and grasped it. A quick heft and she knew it was heavier than expected, but it was what she was told to use. A soft reply come forth as she looked from the blade to him, "Thank you." She was curious as to how he had created the weapon in the first place. But she did not think the lesson today would involve that little trick. She was ready for him to begin and again she stood perfectly still watching him. She wanted to, no needed to learn. When she set her mind to doing something, she focused on it with an intensity.

Battousai’s hand retreats into his body after the sword is handed off to her; he folds his arms at his chest for the time being and continues with the lesson, “when you master that sword, you will have mastered the sword you will come to use.” This would be an indication that the sword she was training with would not be the sword that she would regularly fight with; that would be found only after her training was completed. Finding her new sword after this would be her rite of passage, but still, that was a good ways off.
Wanting her to be fully prepared for what would be happening with him temporarily leaving, he would tell her beforehand, “I am going away… I will not be long, but use the time that I am gone to master what I will teach you today.” He continues, “If you can perform satisfactorily then we can move to the next level.” He warns her, “Look closely at what you must master.”
His body turns with his side to her. His right hand casually comes to rests the hilt of his left blade. In one fluid motion, the blade slash out diagonally in an upward manner sending out an invisible arch of force of tremendous power that rips a path through the meadow and travels the length of the field to the other side before it dissipates in the distance leaving an earthy rut path in its wake. There comes a sliding noise of metal and then a click as the blade is re-sheathed; he turns back to her and explains, “that is called ‘slash.’ You should know that by the time I return… but to begin your training today… you will learn the most universal technique of all animals. The swipe.” He would instruct, “show me how you hold your sword.”

As he spoke of the sword she was holding, she was glad it would not be the one she would fight with. Sera nodded and hefted the sword and switched hands from left to right and then right to left. It seem to fit well in either, so it remained in her left hand for the moment. While he was quiet for a moment, she studied the weapon she would be practicing with. His voice came to her ears again and she glanced to him. This would be a good weapon for practice, it being heavier would give her better, quicker control over a lighter one.
As he speaks her attention is diverted to him. He would be leaving her. That made her wonder but it was not her place to question, but the question was visable upon her features though. She would be alone with Yuki. She did not trust that man. He growled too often and did not speak. He rubbed her the wrong way and so she would study har to fast surpass him. There was something wrong with him and she could not figure out what. The worry that she was feeling was evident but it soon went back to that curious questioning of the reason for leaving so quickly. Another nod was given at the end of his current statements. She would do her best and practice hard to accomplish the task set before her. The curiousity was replaced by determination.
His body turns and she watches him intently as one of his swords slips easily and fluidly from the sheath and with a powerful slashing movement, it sent a rip trough the meadows. She was stunned for a moment and shook her head. That was what she had to accomplish, then she would strive her best to do so. But that was a tall order. Judging by what he spoken of eariler, it would not be something easy since he wanted her to work on it while he was gone. And nothing ever worth doing was easy. Determination set upon her features again. When he turned back to face her, she nodded again showing she understood. SO today she would start with the swipe. Sera's hand gripped the sword hilt and thought about it for a moment. She took a simple stance with her feet apart and her side turned. Her hand came out in a style similar to a fencer.

Battousai would nod as she took her stance and held her sword. To him, it wasn’t important how she held her sword as long as it was a firm grip. He would further enlighten her by stating, “today you will hold your sword…” The full impact of those words would be understandable later in the day as the training went on. He continues, “for the first part of your warm up, you will perform a swipe.” He warns, “do not allow your sword to touch the ground… or it will be bad.” In saying this, he moves to her and reaches for her arm which was holding the sword of light. He takes her arm at her wrist and chants something beneath his mask. While doing this, light glows about her forearm and a very simple glowing piece of light solidifies about her arm and molds over her current hand posture extending to the base of her blade in a swirling manner; thus, even if she wanted to let go of the blade, she would not; it would now almost be an extension of her arm though it held enough flexibility for her to move her wrist as needed. His hands move from hers as he takes a few steps back and then is held up as he illustrates, “the cat paws at the butterfly” with a swiping motion to give a visual of the basic thing that she would want to do. He would wait silently expecting her to do one. At this time, his arms would fold at his chest and he would expect her to do it perfectly, but after she did it, if she stopped to ask, ‘like that?’ or something similar he would simply motion for her to do it again. This would go on for about an hour or until she started to show signs of fatigue, not being able to hold her arm up, asked for a rest or something similar.

Sera watched as he moved to her and grabs her wrist. It took only a moment of curious study before it became evident what he was doing. A spell formed around her wrist and the hilt of the sword. This kept her hand around the hilt of the sword he had produced. She tested her wrist in its shielded state and found it still able to flex. That was good, but the cast around her hand and wrist was about the same weight of the sword. Thus it doubled the weight she was dealing with. He spoke and she turned her full attention to him and his demonstration of a swipe. He called it the cat paws at the butterfly and after the demonstration, she could understand why. So she mirrored his movements the first time and then glanced at him. His motion to continue came and she turned back to her training. Not a word spoken, just his words absorbed as she continued, repeating the movements over and over again. Concentrating upon the move, she did not notice until her arm started to lower, that it was getting tired. Picking the arm up, she only grew more determined and focused as she continued until the arm in question began to tremble and shake. She held perfectly still for a moment and watched her arm tremble, a uncommon look of disgust on her face. Perfectly still she remained, having mirrored his movements over a hundred times. The look of disgust vanished as she hung her head, ashamed of the inability to continue until told to stop. Her arm remaining out and trembling. He had told her not to allow the sword to touch the ground, and she was trying to keep it from doing such.

As the young lady performed her task, the world moved as normal around her. There would be butterflies and dragon flies wafting about the meadows, playing in the sun’s newly formed rays and the clouds would change in their tint from purple to more of a tone of blue. Battousai would stand resolute, almost as a rock, in that position while watching her. One good portion of his mental ‘condition’ was the fact that he was used to being in a state where he did not move when he wasn’t the default persona and was watching through whomever’s eyes that happened to be at the moment. Thus, almost as if in a meditative state, he would watch her with full expectations that she would continue until he said stop. Of course, he was not going to say to stop, due to the fact that he wanted her to continue until she was near her limit. As the time passed, it seemed as if her arm was starting to get tired, which was normal and expected. As she held the arm up and off of the ground, he would walk around to her other side and allow, “rest the sword on your shoulder.” She could bend her elbow and place the dull portion against her shoulder to at least rest a portion of her arm for now. As this occurred, he would reach for the other hand and generate a sword like she had in her main hand and create a caste around it in similar form. Now she had two swords. He would take a step back and comment, “continue with this arm. Paw the butterfly.” With that, he would look to the side and pull one of his swords out and swing it, causing it to stab into the ground where it would rest butt side up. His hands would come together to form a hand seal as he chanted and transferred his energy and a portion of his consciousness, or rather another’s consciousness within the mind they shared, into the sword. The sword would begin to glow and grow into the humanoid form of Jyn, who would be dressed the same as Battousai. Looking to his ‘brother’ Battousai would order “watch her while I bring water. Her sword is…” Jyn cuts him off, “not to touch the ground… yeah, I know.” He taps his head with his index finger before looking over to Sera and grinning. Turning his attention back to Battousai, he wraps his arm around him and turns their back to her as he speaks, “it’s about time you let me out to meet her. She’s pretty cute, eh?” Battousai frown and pushes Jyn’s arm off of him. “Watch her,” he says as he begins to walk off. In a huffing manner, Jyn is left behind as he watches Battousai walk off and sighs, “Grinch…” Turning back around, he looks over to Sera, who should be swiping, and smiles, “yo! I’m Jyn, nice to meet you.” He holds his hand out to shake, knowing that she wouldn’t be able to with dual sword hands.

He walked around her and allowed her to rest that arm. Her elbow bent and she rested the blade, dull side against, her shoulder. When he created the second sword she almost sighed in relief, but did not give into the urge. It was only correct and easy to figure out what he would do next. She grasped the second sword and allowed him to weight the second wrist and arm down. This was an odd sight for most people. It would seem as if Sera had blades instead of hands. But no complaint issued from her as it would from younger students. She just kept repeating in her head that nothing worth gaining or learning was ever easy. And with that, she was commanded to continue to swipe with this arm. It was a bit difficult with the other sword on her shoulder but soon she was concentrating and swiping. Her focus solely on her work, so much so that she did not even notice the spell or what was happening near her. With each swipe she stirred up the grasses around her. The sun creeping higher. Her stomach rumbled and she ignored it. So focus was she that when the new man spoke, she jumps, startled and almost drops the sword to the ground, but she brings it up and locks those red eyes upon the newcomer. His voice was different as well as his name.
She glances down at his offered hand and then those eyes scan around looking for Battousai. Sera wondered for a moment where the other had gone as those red orbs moved back to Jyn's face. "A pleasure to meet you. I would shake but as you can see" She looks down to the sword still attached to her hands. "I am Seraphina. Sera for short if you so choose." That dimple showing smile graced her face for a moment before she turned back to the matter at hand. "Excuse me, though. I do not mean to be short, but I am training at the moment." She took a step back away from him so she could continue her swipes. Her smile fading as she gained a look of concentration and continued the move as she was instructed.

Jyn’s hand retracts as a smile comes to grace his face. He casually walks about her keeping at least three or four meters between then given the fact that she was actively swiping a sword to and fro. He would immediately realize that she didn’t see him arrive. “Pretty intense,” he would make the comment, partially to himself referencing the devotion she put into swinging her sword. As it would turn out, it didn’t seem to Jyn as if she had noticed Battousai’s departure either. He pauses in his walk and folds his arm standing to her left side as he answers, “well, I know that. I’ve been sent here to keep an eye on you and make sure you don’t slack in your training. I guess you didn’t see your master walk off just now, eh?” Since her eyes were on him, he figured he might as well help himself to a visual heap of her. Using his internal mental abilities, he attempted to estimate her bust size that was behind the tunic she wore. Taking into account her waist and overall shape, he would have to judge her body around an eight. Keeping the social commentary going, he would comment, “you must be a masochist to be training under Battousai, eh?” The tone would be a bit teasing, but he wanted to get a good feel for her personality.

As she continued the swipe she took her mind off of it for a moment and glanced at the man named Jyn. She did not stop, but watched him circling her. He seemed to be judging her as he talked and studied her. Was it because of her swipe, was it wrong. She continued through the movement and repeating it. When Jyn spoke of Battousai's exit she glanced to him from the corner of her eye. Was he trying to distract her? Because it was working. He was handsome in that roguish way but she focused her mind back to the matter at hand since said hand had started to swipe a little more sloppy than the previous ones. A blush stole up her cheeks at her momentary lapse of focus. "No I did not notice his departure." She still formed a smile, this one a half smug, a tug of the lips at the corner, showing off only one dimple as Jyn took a slightly teasing tone with his next words. "This is our first session, is he such a harsh master?" She asked softly, another swipe being performed. "He found me and offered to train me. I took him up on the offer." She was careful not to hit him or come close as she went through the swipes over and over again. "And nothing worth gaining is ever easy" She was still serious in tone, but the smile tugging at her lips spoke of a light heart and a streak of laughter. The smile began to fade as she mentally shoved herself back into the routine.

“Is he a harsh master?...” Jyn echoes her words as he folds his arms while running his chin. His head cocks a little to the side before he sighs and lowers his arms into being crossed about his chest. He settles for, “let’s just say he’s very result oriented.” The white haired male comments, “you’ll probably learn a lot, but it won’t help you if your body can’t move. But I guess that’s a good thing, since look at Yuki now.” With that, he would make the comment, “I must be distracting you, because that last swipe was horrible…” A grin would be on his face as he waltzes back around to her front with his feet kicking through the tall stands of grass making passing movements with each lackadaisical kick before coming to a stop and simply looking at her. He warns, “now I take my job of looking at pretty girls seriously, so if you ease up for just a minute, Battousai will probably have you doing laps from sea to sea.” The thought came to show off a bit, but outside of the host body, there wasn’t much he could do but talk. Like this, he couldn’t even feel or anything the normal body could simply because his current form was all show.

As she listened to him while continuing her swipes, she made a mental note of the difference in wording but pretty much meaning the same thing. It did not bother her in the slightest. Nothing worth gaining was easy. That kept going in her mind for a moment until he mentioned Yuki and she faltered in her swipe. A grimace appeared upon her face but was quickly masked by determination. She did not wish to look at that Man. All he did was try to touch her, trick her into sex, or just plan force her into some sort of sexual relationship with him. The next swipe had a bit more force behind it than the others as her swipes mirrored her thoughts. Yuki rubbed her the wrong way and would not take no for an answer. Then she heard him tell her to ease up and she blinked at him before easing up on the heavy swipes. Those red eyes watched him and smiled as she realized his comment about pretty girls was aimed towards her. Another blush crept up those cheeks as she tried to concentrate and realized she was just going have to split her focus. It was hard to do, but she continued her swipes while keeping half her attention focused on him. After the first few imperfect swipes she got the hang of it. The swipes returned to normal as she spoke in that soft voice of hers, "You must know him rather well. Did he teach you as well?"

“Teach me?” Jyn would almost chuckle at the mention of such a thing, “no way. The first issue is that I don’t really like him all like that and the second thing would be that I don’t normally use swords. I’m a hand to hand kind of guy myself. Focus your inner chi and use your fists… you know?” The question did break this gaze from her as he looks up a bit, diagonally up towards the sky hovering over the horizon in the girl’s background as he thinks aloud, “I’m pretty sure I fall somewhere in the ‘family’ category with Battousai. He thinks he’s the big brother when I’m actually bigger than he is. Since I’m nicer, he gets away with being moody, but no way would I ask him to teach me how to swing around a sword…” Realizing that’s what she was currently doing, he would lower a smirk to her and say, “not that there is anything wrong with swinging a sword.” He did notice a slight jiggle with each swipe she performed and it was well noted though he remained undistracted as he continued, “but he was saying something about your losing your memory…? You bump your head or something?”

Interesting he was a hand to hand expert. That might be a good back up for when she could not reach a sword or two. Then it dawned on her, she could just ask him if he could teach her. He did not seem to be a teacher like person but it would not hurt to ask. She let him finish with his comments about being family. And then the question that came was a bit startling. She took another swipe before answering, her thoughts running back to that time and she could not remember a thing. "You know, I do not remember. I just remember waking up and nothing before it. Slowly some things have started coming back. My name, some of this" with those words she made another swipe. "but nothing as to my past." She paused for the barest of moments and arched one of those shapely shoulders. She was starting to breathe heavy as her arm was starting to tire. But she continued to push herself,. "You say you fight using your hands? Perhaps I could talk you into teaching me a little of that?" Her eyes brightened as she graced him with another full on cute smile. The smile was just a natural expression of her happiness. It was the type of person she was. Another swipe and her arm trembled. She held it out and watched it tremble. The smile faded intoa grimance. She hated that she could not continue on.

Thinking over her words, Jyn would simply nod at how odd that it was that she was unable to remember how she had lost her memory… though it made sense in a way since it would be odd to remember how you forget… or something to that nature. She didn’t look like she had any nasty bumps on her head, but depending on how long ago she lost her memory, she could have healed up. Jyn wouldn’t know about her ability to heal at an ascended rate at the moment. Either way, she was a mysterious red head of questionable origin; that would be interesting in its self. Answering her question, he would not, “hands yeah… well more like fists… I suppose my feet too.” With the advent of the cute smile, he would answer back, “heh, I guess I can show you a thing or two. That’s if you’re able to move after Battousai’s teaching.” Seeing her tremble in her swipe, Jyn would immediately pick up on this and boisterously start up, “oh ho ho!” In his teasing tone, he would inquire, “getting tired already? Hmm… I was hoping a hottie like you would have a bit more stamina. What a shame…”

His answer to the affirmative was pleasing to her ears. But she was getting tired and her arm was starting to grow weaker, but when his statement came she not only blushed, but a look of determination crossed her face as she forced herself to continue on. Her pride was pricked and she wanted to prove to him that she was not just a weakling. As she continued the swiping but slower, she glanced over at him and gently teased, "No stamina," those red eyes twinkled and sparkled with mischief, "Ha. I have enough stamina to last." Although his comment about being a hottie made her cheeks pink up again, the last part kept her continuing the swipes, just slowly and more measured than before. His words gave her a bit more energy since she wanted to impress him for some odd reason. Her swipes went on autopilot for a moment as she spoke, "Thank you. We do not have to do it after this, it can be at a later date. So will you be here while Battousai goes away?" It was a question to see if he would teach her while the master was away. It would give her someone to talk to while he was gone, other than Yuki, the pervert. Her breathing was still heavy but she tried to keep up with the exercise. It was difficult and a few times she was tempted to just stop, but that would be the weak way out. And she did not want to be weak looking to this man.

“Hmm…” Jyn thought about the question a bit. Being in this form wasn’t too fun for him due to its limitations, but he knew he would be bored simply being around Battousai. His face changes from playful to thoughtful as he thought about things. Aside from his enjoyment and what the trip would bring, he knew that they were leaving for something important, something that everyone had to be there for, so he wouldn’t allow himself to miss it; after all, it was a portion of the reason of his existence. “Well, that gets a bit hairy,” he would admit, “…I’m going to have to go when he leaves. We’ve got some important business to take care of that I can’t miss.” After having been removed, the smirk comes back to his face as he assure her, “but don’t worry. I’ll be back to make sure I work you out real good.”
Battousai would visible approaching back from the village at this point carrying a pale of water in one hand and a satchel in the other. With his arms back folded at his chest and his gaze on the approaching samurai, Jyn would comment, “ah, good. You managed to last until the warden returned… guess you should look serious or something.”

He would have to leave with the teacher. She figured, but it was a chance that he might not have. Her smile came back in full force as he spoke of training her when he got back. Well a work out anyways, a real work out. That made her chuckle and shake her head, her ponytail and her chest bouncing as she accomplished this. "I would be grateful for your teaching. And I cannot wait for your return so we can get start." Sera glanced at him as she continued her swiping. Pain beginning to creep up her arm towards her shoulder. When he spoke of the master returning, she glanced to look over at the masked one. A swipe was followed by another glance to him and the pail of water he carried. One delicate eyebrow arched in questioning silence. She almost laughed at the warden remark but Battousai was doing his version of training and it might be different than Jyn's but it seemed to be working well. She could strive to look serious, but it would be a lie. So the smile dimmed a bit and she returned to fully concentrating on the swipes. Her attention divided no more. But there was still the half smile tugging at the right corner of her lips showing that she was in a pleasant mood at least. Part of her wondered at the bucket of water.

Battousai arrives at a saunter with the bucket of water and the satchel, one in each hand. Reaching the area, he shoots Jyn a glance to which the short haired male gives a short and chopping wave to him. He looks to Sera who seemed to be busy in her continuance of her training. Without saying anything, he would lower the bucket to the ground as well as the satchel, but over the top of the bucket so that it would cover the water and stay free from touching the ground. After placing the items down, he would look up to see that it seemed Sera’s arm was straining against the swipes. He would speak calmly, “other arm” expecting her to switch out so that she could rest the current arm. “That breakfast?” Jyn inquires in a lively tone, referring to the water while assuming correctly that the satchel held food in it. This draws the sensei’s attention for a moment as he would simply receive a glance before attention would return back to Sera with, “you may go now.” Jyn comments, “I think I’ll stay a little longer.” Not caring Battousai would ask Sera if she were tired.

Out of the corner of her eye, Sera watched her teacher approach and settle everything down on the ground. When he commanded her to switch, she settled the sword on her shoulder with relief and began the routine over with the arm that had been resting. Her ears picked up the mention of food and she wondered what was going on. But she remained silent and waited. Everything would be revealed in time. Patience. Someone had taught her that long ago. Another piece to the puzzle. The repetition of the exercise allowed her to clear her head and get lost in her own musings. Her lips were still tugged up at the corners as her musings centered around the conversation she had with a teasing handsome man. Their conversation floated to her ears, but she choose not to intrude. So there was breakfast in the bag. Her mouth watered but she continued to swipe, her stomach gnawed at her backbone, but she continued to swipe, ignoring the demands of her body for the moment. When the sensei asked if she was tired, she gave a gentle nod in answer and her voice was soft as it accompanied the nod, "Yes, sensei"

“Ah, crap…” Jyn would say looking towards her as she stated that she was tired. Apparently it must have been the wrong answer, though Battousai would respond by stating, “good. Now keep your balance…” With that, he performs a hand seal and then places both hands to the ground. The ground rumbles beneath Sera and suddenly she is hoisted up onto a four story totem pole pillar of solidified light energy. Jyn’s head tilts up as he looks to the heights that Sera had been lifted with his hand to his forehead as if blocking out sunlight or something. The platform would be narrow and would test her ability to balance. Of course, if it were too sudden for her and she fell off, Jyn would actively move to and catch her if she fell. The manner that this would be performed would be in ‘across the threshold manner.’ If that were to take place, Battousai would be disappointed, but Jyn would be happy. If she were to maintain her balance and continued standing on the pole, Battousai would look up and explain, “this will make things easier for you. Now your blades will not touch the ground if you rest your arms. When it is time, then you shall have breakfast. I will let you know when it is time.” Jyn immediately knew what he meant by ‘time’ and frown a bit as he felt this was a bit harsh. By now, the smell of the food and the sight of the water should reach her, meaning that it should have her attention and seemingly make each minute proceed slower.

Not the response she was expecting when the man named Jyn spoke. That was her fair warning though, that something was about to happen, and then Battousai preforming magic only solidified that warning. Not to mention to keep her balance. When the ground lurched under her, she would have reached out with her hands to steady herself, but that was impossible with the swords. So in order to keep from falling off that rising four story tall platform pillar of light. In that instant, her vibrant wings began to flare out in an automatic response to falling, By the time they had grown into their full size, she was balancing on one tip toe almost flailing and falling off. But a few flaps of those large feathered membranes and she was back on the platform. He never said how she could balance. Sometimes having wings were awfully handy. Though she assumed she would have a form of punishment for using them, she did not wish to fall. The wings began to shrink and retreat as she steadied herself on the platform. She glanced down off the pillar of light for a moment. Most people would have sighed at this new forced training, especially when food was involved, but she gritted her teeth and faced forward, ignoring the two on the ground. With grim determination she continued the training, the smile gone from her face completely as she focused on the task at hand. Her stomach protested, but she continued to ignore it. Every moment that passed felt like years to her while she knew that food and water were down there. Still she struggled, resting one arm while the other swiped and then switching. This would continue until something new interrupted.

Looking up, Battousai would take note of the wings and how they were used for balance. Also looking at her, Jyn would murmur, “hmph… so she comes with wings for added protection; convenient.” Either way, her staying up there was satisfactory enough for Battousai, thus he could leave things as they were, assuming that she would continue to train as normal. As such, he crouches in the grass and softly sets himself upon his knees in a sitting position with his hands resting on the top of his thighs and his rear onto the back of his heels. In this manner, he would proceed into his meditations seeing the world through his ability to sense it rather than see it. Seeing the stoic samurai go into meditating, then looking up to see Sera go into her serious mod, Jyn decided that the fun time was over and that he could rest. With a light sigh, he would crouch and then lean back, lying into the soft grasses of the meadowlands. With his hands cupping the back of his head and his elbows poking out either side, his gaze would be up at Sera as she continued to train, simply watching her for a little while and wishing that she was wearing a skirt. Before long, he would eventually drift off and begin a short nap.
Mercilessly slow, time would lurch on until the morning had passed and the afternoon was approaching. It would be at this time that Battousai would come out of his meditation, barring that Sera didn’t fall before hand or anything to that nature. Since a few hours had passed, he could better judge the next move based on her current situation. If she were to interrupt him between that time and now, he would act accordingly based on her actions.

Of course Sera was still up there. Although she looked tired and her movements, once vibrant and full of life, were now measured and slow. They appeared tired to anyone watching. Her legs were now starting to tremble as the morning moved towards afternoon. Hunger had ceased and he mind had gone numb. One arm would rest while the other continued, after a few swipes they would switch. About the time that Battousai would be coming out of his trance, she would have stopped the swipes for a moment to roll her shoulders. They were tense and there was a pain between them that she could not relieve. After the rotation of the shoulders within their sockets, she would start back to training. Not a single sigh or complaint crossed her lips, the only signs of her discomfort and growing fatigue were the visible ones. In that numb mind of hers, she just kept repeating to herself mentally, 'nothing worth learning is easy.'
Obviously by this time she was drooping in her posture, and if her wings had been visible they would be so low that she would be in danger of tipping over. Muscles she never knew she had, were aching. Her arms were throbbing, but other than a slight grimace when she swung the blades, she remained, fighting the urge to sigh and gripe.

Seeing that Sera seemed fatigued from what she had done so far and primed for a break, Battousai would nod and mentally praise her for doing well this far. He had half expected to be brought out of his meditation by the sound of her falling from the pillar. Since this portion of her training was over, he would perform a waving motion with his hand and comment for her to “come down.” Around this time, the interruption in the rhythmic swiping and grunts with the advent of Battousai’s voice causes Jyn’s eyes to slowly pry open. His eyes wince shut once more as his mouth opens with a wide yawn and his body stretches out in his lying position before he leans up and looks around to see that this portion of training seemed to be over with. After she had come down, Battousai would motion to the water and the satchel and comment, “replenish yourself for your first break. You will need the energy as we continue.” And with that, he solidifies the fact that training wasn’t over. Training with him happened to be much longer than any sane person would want to endure, but if Yuki did it and lived, he expected Sera to do the same. With that, the contents of the satchel, bread and seared meat, would be hers along with the water.

When he called for the first break, she blinked at him. She was wondering if this was another trick. Last time she ended up here. Her eyes narrowed for a moment before she figured that she might as well come down. Within a moment, those wings unfurled and stretched, and she stepped off the pillar of light. As she tipped over, her wings pulled tight to her and she fell the first three stories in a dive. At the end she twisted in in mid-flight and they popped open to allow her pull up slightly, her legs and body straightening so that she landed feet first, softly on the ground. That brought her blood rushing through her veins and gave her a little bit more energy. Not as much as a full free fall would, but it worked. The wings tucked themselves back in. and she held out her arms for a moment and shook her head. They were still weighted down. Looking to Battousai, she wondered if he was going to release the spell binding the sword to her arms. Otherwise she would not be able to eat or drink. Should he release the blades, then she would eat.

A grin would be on Jyn’s face as he watches the girl have permission granted to eat and drink, yet she still basically had blades for hands. Standing up from his sitting position, Jyn grunts in reference to Sera Swordsor Hands, “Battou… you are a cruel asshole, you know?” Battousai simply looks over to him as if he didn’t understand what he was saying. Casually Jyn makes his way over to Sera and looks at the samurai as he looks back to him. Jyn blinks and then realizes, “wait… you’re seriously not going to release her from the swords?” The samurai allows an awkward silence to settle in before speaking, “she has fifteen minutes to break.” Jyn speaks, “but her swords…” Battousai completes while tilting his head quizzically, “cannot touch the ground…” Jyn’s palm lowers into a palm whose fingers rub his temples as he speaks, “that’s a little far…” By the time he looks up, Battousai would have vanished in a flash of light. Jyn blinks, “… that ass!” He then looks over to the helpless Sera and comments, “I guess it can’t be helped… do you still want to follow this loon? If soon, I’ll feed you so you don’t end up losing more food then you eat.”

So the mandate stood, she was still trapped in these casts, and was suppose to eat somehow without letting the swords touch the ground. She almost broke at that, but this little Kami was made of stronger stuff. Sera watched Battousai and Jyn make an very strange conversation. More Jyn than her master. It would have been comical if it was not her on the receiving end of this punishment. After the masked one vanishes, she glances silently to Jyn and shakes her head. The swords resting on her shoulders, her arms bent at the elbows. "I could not ask that of you." Her voice still had that soft quality about it but under it was something bordering exhaustion. Then her stomach growled and she cringed at the rebellious nature of her all too human body. "I guess I have no choice but to ask it of you. So much for decorum. I do thank you for it though." Was he really a Loon or was there something else going on between these two. Perhaps it was a test to her resolve to train. She remembered that some teachers had harsh tests to pass before becoming a student. A test of not just strength but of determination and willpower. A question formed and she asked it of Jyn, "Did he do this with Yuki as well?" That would help confirm or deny the thoughts on the testing. When she thought about Yuki, she winced inwardly. That one rubbed her the wrong way.

Jyn hears the first refusal and then her stomach seems to fill in the silence. With the growling of the stomach, a large grin would come on the face of the young man as he looked to her, visually calling her bluff. He would comment in a cocky manner, “decorum is for houses” in a deep proverb that probably only made sense to him from his misunderstanding of the word. But he does correct her, “you’re not asking me, I’m offering it to you.” With this, he would be on his way over to the area were the water and food would be. In his mind, he thought it might be a bit awkward to give her water through a bucket, but the only other way was to cup it in his hands, which would be odd, or to transfer it to her orally, which would be a bit too much and very creepy on a first meeting type scenario. When the question comes in, Jyn would chuckle a bit and state, “Yuki couldn’t move after the first day’s training. He barely dragged himself to his bed… so yes, I would say the training is consistent so far.” Now by the food, he would offer her to get on her knees as he crouched in the grass and spoke, “come… sit so that I can put it on your mouth.” It would be obvious that he was teasing her.

It was good to know that Yuki had received the same kind of treatment. Her face lit up with that radiant smile as he teased at her gently. As she slowly bent her knees to the ground in front of him as he had indicated, she replied, "Just put in slowly, I do not wish to choke." Her cheeks flared up in a full blush as she chuckled after that. Since it was apparent that she was teasing back. Hopefully it would be enough to cause him to laugh. He smiled better than Battousai, but considering the mask, she was not if that man ever smiled. Even if he did, no one would be able to tell. This is where she would let him feed her. Dutifully she would open her mouth for the food to slide in. As he fed her, she would try to show as much poise as possible but that was sure to go out the window if something fell onto her or if he tried to help her drink from the bucket. The latter was sure to get her soaked, causing the shirt to cling to her chest and reveal the shapely curves of that said chest. But that was only if he had to do it that way.

A wide grin came to Jyn’s face at the counter that came from the fiery young lady. If he were in a body that was natural, his thing might have shifted a little from the teasing back and forth. With that, he would crouch to her side and make a minor comment about the meat being kind of big. Of course, he wouldn’t attempt to stuff something fat in her mouth, rather, he would break apart the pieces of meat and feed them to her one at a time, giving her plenty of time to chew, mixing it up with bread as well until she had her fill. When she was ready, he would bring the edge of the bucket to her lips for her to drink water and would make sure not to tilt it too much to get her wet in the process. The portions wouldn’t be huge, but enough to be sufficient for a good morning’s breakfast, meaning that she should have no problem finishing what was given. The bucket of water, however, would be filled with enough water for her to drink and then some. The remainder would be placed to the side and afterwards there would be some time before the warden would return. In the lull, Jyn would recline back in the grasses on his rear with his palms behind him supporting his sitting up posture as he would inquire simply bating a conversation in no particular direction, “so how high do those wings let you fly?”

After he had fed her to her fill and she had gained the water, Sera watched him lean back and she smiled at him, "Thank you. I am grateful." She was wondering at just how much time left before the teacher returned to torture her some more when Jyn asked the question of her wings and she shrugged. "As high as the heavens I suspect." A chuckle formed after this and she shook her head. "I have not tested it yet truthfully. I usually keep them hidden and try not to use them." She then let a comfortable silence stretch between for a few moments as she looked out upon the grasslands, the gentle breeze blowing the stalks around like waves on the ocean. "So tell me about yourself, if you do not mind. You seem very interesting. And I am sorry that you have to play babysitter to his student. But I do thank you for helping me." Another smile graced her lips as she kept her eyes out on the grasslands. only glancing at him through the corner of her eyes. Butterflies fluttered about the place and little creature of some sort was rustling around the area. Most likely a mole or something similar.

With a nonchalant shrug, Jyn comments, “I don’t mind this type of babysitting.” Thinking on what to say about himself, he begins, “well, I’m a traveler… a cartographer and an adventurer. I’m currently traveling to find something, I make maps of where I am and collect maps for places I must go, and I find stuff along the way. Yuki and I actually first met while I was attempting to explore some ancient ruins that I had come upon. At that time he was just a normal mercenary, but Battousai is working with him to make him a leader of men… or something like that.” His head tilts to the side as his gaze lifts up in thought as he comments, “well, I guess a leader of women, since that’s what the village primarily consists of… I guess it’s strange how that worked out.” He continues returning from his digression, “but I guess I’m not that interesting. I walk a lot, so that sums me up.” Looking back to her, he states, “I guess you can’t tell me about yourself with no memory and all, so I guess I’ll have to tell you about yourself.” A coy grin comes to his face as he admits teasing, “we were actually engaged to be married before you vanished.”

Sera listened with her full attention turned on him for a moment but then her head turned to glance up at the sun. She was still listening to him intently but her mind rolled over a question in her mind and she wondered. Even as he finished the part about being a cartographer she was about to give a reply when he launched into things about herself. And his startling comment gave her a shock for a moment, the question totally exiting her mind. Her head snapped back to look at him, surprise registering in her face and her mouth forming that cute little 'o' shape before she shook her head and was able to use her tongue again to speak, "We are engaged? I-I am sorry, I do not remember that. How long were we..." that was when it dawned on her and she blinked and smiled in that playful, teasing way again, "If that had been the case and we were engaged to be married, then why did you introduce yourself to me as if you did not know me?" The teasing was back in her voice but she had fell for it for a moment. Then she shook her head as she revisited the previous mentioned cartographer. "So what is it that you are looking for in your travels? And it is rather interesting having traveled so many places." She totally avoided the topic of Yuki's leadership and kept her mouth shut on that.

The cartographer would be partially amused that she hadn’t gotten his reference at first, but after she seemed to get it, he felt a bit better that they weren’t going to have an awkward moment. “Hmm…” Jyn would murmur as he thought about her question with an upward glance. He answers, “I guess I’m looking to the conclusion of a long story.” His gaze lowers and looks back to her as he comments, “I have to repay a debt that was taken out when I was a child… or rather, I have to help my little brother do that. It gets pretty complicated, so I won’t go into much detail, but when I find what we’re looking for then I can finally settle down and stop my traveling… not that I don’t enjoy it though.” Around this time, there would be a burst of light to the side to signify the arrival of the warden himself. Standing with his arms folded he would see that the girl had eaten and that Jyn had talked. With his gaze set back to Sera he asks, “have you regained your energy?” It was a very straight forward question whose answer could only lead to pain.

Her eyes softened as Jyn spoke about a family duty and obligation. "I hope it works out. And if you ever need my help. I will be glad to do so." At this point in time the flash would occur and the teacher would return. Sera was bit startled but recovered quickly. He had assumed that arms folded position again as he asked if she had regained her energy. Slowly she rose, which was a bit awkward since the swords could not touch the ground. After the wobbly moment of rising she looked back to Battousai and nodded. She knew that the affirmative meant pain, but the possibility of the negative being worse kept her from answering in the negative fashion. Best to work hard at this and take the lesser of two punishments. Her red eyes slide away from Battousai and back towards the pillar, wondering if it would be back up to that thing or if it would be something else. Sadistic this man was, and he seemed perfectly content being so.Again she resisted the urge to sigh like a some child. It was time to train. Her eyes glanced back to battousai and his stance the spoke of more sadism to come.

With a slight frown, Jyn would emit, “poo…” to see that his fun time was over. With that, he would lay back in the grasses as he had before, folding his arms behind his head and taking it easy. There wasn’t much he could get into at the moment anyway, chances were Yuki was off doing reconstruction or something and Jyn didn’t necessarily feel like building or anything at the moment. The teacher, however, would be fully devoted to the ‘work’ that was put before him as he would nod in acceptance of Sera’s words. He notices her glance back to the pillar and he informs, “you’ve worked on your motions, now you will work on putting strength behind them.” It would be a tall order since her muscles should have gained time to cool down and begin to stiffen and sore up. Still, he would request, “your training now is to strike the pole.” With that, he would motion towards it and order for her to strike it with all of her might. It seemed a simple enough feat for her, since if she continually hit it in the same place, theoretically she should break it, which would indicate an end to the training, but that was only in theory.

Now the sentencing began, she was suppose to hit the post of light with all of her strength. This was going to be painful, no way around it. Gritting her teeth, she moved to the pillar of light, her muscles sore from the cool down, she began to swing at the post with one arm, while the other arm rested against her shoulder. This was difficult to do since she needed to tense the muscles of that arm and shoulder to keep the blade steady as she swiped. So it became an alternating dance of outstretched and shoulder resting. At least this was loosing up the second arm. But with each swing, she would grimace as the pain began to set in. But still she was silent and without complaint. She was not going to appear as weak as most females. She wanted to be strong and uncomplaining like most females.
With this process each thought was punctuated with a swing as she mentally tried to get through this day's training. Before long she was forced to switch hands and swing with the other one. This let up the pressure on the other arm, but her strength was waning and it was visible. Each swipe at the pillar, each flex of the muscles was starting to get painful. But still she was silent to the pain. Tears filled her eyes but she blinked them back and continued onward.

Battousai would notice that she went right into it without any talking or questioning. That was a notch to the plus side for her, as she seemed as if she would be an easy pupil to undertake. In the beginning, Rune didn’t complain much, though he did growl from time to time. Training her would be easier since she didn’t seem to have that odd social tick. As she goes to hitting the pole, Battousai would murmur lightly beneath his mask and channel his energy to the pillar to work on constantly repairing the pole whenever it showed signs of being damaged, though the threshold of the pole’s density would be about five times stronger than what Sera would be able to hit it with. Thus it would be around every four or five strikes that the pole would ‘magically’ regenerate in the area where it had been stricken.
With the patience of a statue, Battousai would continue to watch Sera perform this and regenerate the pole at his leisure far after Jyn would wake up and mosey away out of boredom. The training wasn’t flashy or fun, it was dull and repetitive aimed to break down Sera’s body so that it could be built back up. He wouldn’t be pleased until her back, shoulders, arms, and most of her upper torso had been fully worked out.
In this manner, Battousai would continue this portion of training beyond noon well into the day, and after that a short break would be given much like before where the girl would be watered and feed, and then after that, she would be labored with simply holding her swords up and in place in a form of isotonic muscle training. The training would not conclude until night fall was upon them and at the end of the day, the worn blades would be brittle enough to break. Battousai would release her from her binds by breaking the swords from her hands and arms and they would be allowed to be free for the first time in a long time.

Throughout the day she would grow weaker and more tired. Not to mention, frustrated that the pillar kept reforming when she had finally gotten a few nicks into it. This would be enough to make any female cry like a baby but she just continued on with her training. Minute turned into hour as she continued until lunch was given to her and she was almost to tired to speak. After lunch the same thing would happen only it would be magnified by ten since her muscles were now so stiff and tired.
As the afternoon turned towards evening it was clear that she was wilting and fading fast. Her arms trembled, her shoulders ached as her training turned towards holding her swords up. Her breathing was winded, even her natural perkiness was dull and her face lackluster. She was just so tired that she thought she would so perish from the training he was putting her through. She hurt and trembled, the pained expression now a feature on her face almost as if it had been etched there and was now frozen. Hours crawled by like eons as the sun began to sank and she was finally released.
As the man finally broke the swords from her hands, she felt the cool air upon her skin. As Sera tried to move the writs and arm around it was clear just how stiff it was and for the first time all day she let out a hiss of pain. She had not been expecting such a feeling and sank to her knees her arms cradled against her body. Those red eyes glanced up at Battousai waiting for anything else that would be required. She could barely move and feared that even a twitch would cause a great deal of pain.

By now, the sunlight of the day would be proceeding to the other side of the world and night would be stretching over the vastness overhead. The soft night winds would promenade into the meadows and blow about offering a cooling relief to the wary trainee. After breaking the tools of bondage from her wrists, Battousai would judge that she had done well during the day, and so he would vocalize, “good.” That single word would have to express how pleased he was with her. Sensing someone behind him, he would turn his head to the side and comment, “I’m done with her now.” Looking back to her, he would comment, “you will have to train in this manner until my return. We will meet once more in the morning, rest well.” With that, he would turn and begin walking away from her, offering her his back as he would pass shoulder and shoulder with Jyn, whom he had referenced earlier with his declaration of being finished. Approaching the sunken female, Jyn would look down and shake his head stating, “he goes too far…” Leaning over, he would reach down and scoop her up in his arms, something he was pretty sure she couldn’t resist against in her state. He attempted to be as gentle as he could to hoist her up. With a kind smile, he comments, “don’t worry, the trip back home is on me.” With that, he would, if allowed, proceed to walk her back into the village from the meadows, to take her to where she would be sleeping for the night. “Oh,” he would suggest if things had processed this far, “how about a warm bath to soak in? Or do you prefer cold?"

The way that he said that last comment made it seem so... dirty. But at that point in time she was so tired she did not care. She was just grateful for the whole thing to be over. That she barely said anything when Jyn picked her up. In fact the only vocalization he got was a moan that was a mixture of pain and exhaustion. She nodded as he picked her up in his arms and allowed him to carry her to the house that she was staying in with Yuki and Battousai. He was strong, that much she could judge for the fact that he carried her so far. She did not weigh much, but still the awkwardness of it was enough for to assume his strength was by far greater than her own. At the question she answered in a voice almost too soft to hear, "Please. Warm would be wonderful" She tried to find more of a voice but could only think of the stiffness and ache in her muscles and joints. She hated feeling this helpless, but it could not be help. Finally she found her vocal chords enough to say, "Thank you, Jyn" her head rested against his chest as he walked.
Her mind wandered back to battousai saying that last comment. He would see her in the morning. Hopefully not for another training session. Her muscles would not be ready by far and for the first time all day, she let out a groan as she thought about more training like this. Finally she let out the frustration of all day. But at least Jyn would not know her train of thought for this particular groan. It might even pass for a painful groan. Finally she remember that he was heading out the next day. A reprieve that she would welcome. Although Jyn had said he was also going, so that was a sad thought. She had enjoyed talking with him. And all she would be left with was Yuki. And that left a feeling of dread. But she would keep that one to herself.

“Hai hai,” would come the answer to the fact that she would prefer a warm bath. Warm was a little more complicated than cold since cold could pretty much just be a toss in the river or pond whereas warm required fire and such. With slight shrug, he would acknowledge her thanks; to him it wasn’t really needed. Carrying a cute girl was payment enough for the act, but it was just unfortunate for Jyn that he couldn’t actually feel her in the process. Where his form would be shifted to that of his normal fleshy body, he lacked the ability to feel due to the fact that his consciousness was merely animating it. Of course Jyn found it an odd thing being in the puppet body, which was why he preferred to be in the main host body. Given his strict and unfeeling demeanor, it was Jyn’s line of thought that Battouai would be better suited for the artificial body. At the groan, Jyn would grin and comment in a teasing manner asking, “does me simply holding you feel that good?” turning the assumption from being that the groan was pain for being something else, more so, pleasure.
After making it into the house, Jyn would carry Sera inside and to room outside of the bathroom where he would lower her to either stand on her own or take a seat on one of the scattered chairs in the miscellaneous room. After sitting her down, however performed, he would inform her, “I’ll start the fire and fill the tub for you, so take it easy and give me a little time, okay?”

His words of teasing cause a pronounced blush to spread across her cheeks as she glanced up to him. Little did she know that he could not feel her or that he was not fully in control of this body. How strange that would have been to explain. But some say that ignorance is bliss. Perhaps this was a case at the moment. But she still attempted to tease back, "Well of course... You are so strong and handsome." Then she winced in pain again and tried to chuckle it off as he set her down once inside the house. Instead of standing or sitting in chair, she choose option three, she placed her back against a wall and slid down into a sitting position.
Her face lit up in a smile again as he spoke. "Thank you so much, Jyn. You are such a knight in shining armor." As he moved off to fix a bath, Sera brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. Her head settled with her forehead against her knees as she let her body rest. Her body screamed and cursed at her for its abuse, but she just sat there silently feeling every stiff and aching joint. Each muscle twitch or movement only seemed to cause more pain so the safest thing was for her to remain as still as possible until Jyn returned. And that is exactly what she was doing, just sitting there breathing and resting. How had Yuki stood all of this on a repetitive basis?

“Heh,” would come the modest response from the white haired cartographer before he would agree with her, “I suppose I am” with a cheeky grin. Moving into the bathroom, Jyn would be within an area that held a tub elevated over a heating area which worked similar to a fire place. The first thing to do would be to fill it with water. Luckily, there was a barrel of water that was collected each day, or at least should by, by one of the people in servitude to Yuki. Pulling the drain on the back end up the tub, Jyn would let the used water within it drain out and into the ground outside of the house. After the used water had been drained, Jyn would then move to the barrel and transfer water from it to the main tub using the bucket that sat beside it. After that, he gathers a few pieces of wood from a pile lying against the adjacent wall to beneath the tub in the fire area. After putting the wood there, he would work on lighting it and starting a small fire that would heat the tub and in turn heat the water that was in it. After the fire was set in place, he would dust off his hands and wait a moment or two to make sure he had done it correctly; burning down Yuki’s house would probably be frowned upon by both Yuki and Battousai.
After a while, Jyn would exit the bathroom and walk past Sera before going into another room and walking past her yet again, this time with clothes in his hand. Returning out of the bathroom to where she was, he stops, standing before her and motion towards the bathroom while saying, “the tub should be warming up now. You can soak in it; there should be enough wood for about 30 minutes, so you can go in whenever you’re ready. I put some clothes and something to dry off with in there.” It would basically just be a large tee shirt. He also informs, “just leave your dirty clothes and we’ll probably get someone to wash them for you tomorrow.” With that, he would let her have her privacy, but would assure, “let me know if you need anything, k?”

Her head pulled up, away from her knees as she glanced up to Jyn on his second trip to her. His words finally registering in her foggy little brain. Shaking her head to clear it she smiled. With both hands on the wall she began to push upwards with her legs. Her palms flat against the structure so as to keep her balance. After slowly making it into a standing position she would smile and hobble towards the bathroom door. Slow, stiff steps that spoke of muscles she did not even know she had, hurting a great deal. At the bathroom door she looked over her shoulder, "Thank you again, Jyn." And she disappeared inside the bathroom to get bathed. At the next second, her head popped back out as she blinked towards Jyn, "whose shirt is it, if you do not mind me asking?" As he gave the answer she would begin to blush and then look back into the bathroom, "Do you think you could help me out of my clothes. I cannot seem to get my hands up above my head." It was embarrassing but she still asked. It would not hurt for him to see her nude either, as long as there were no nose bleeds, she would be fine.

No problem Jyns voice would fade after she had vanished into the bathroom. He turns around, feeling a bit good about himself. He had done a good deed, which was the fuel that most good guys worked on. He felt that good favor should be heading in his direction due to the properties of karma and all. As she is about to walk off, he turns and looks to her as her head pops out. His expression softens. Dont worry, its clean, Jyn would inform her when she inquired about the clothing. But, its mine, he admits, I hope its okay. Then her next question came in. Jyn pauses for a moment as he hears the request come in. In similar thought to his former thinking, he supposed himself to be right about doing good things and having good things happen in response. Eh? he says, a bit surprised at first immediately after the question. Oh, he quickly recovers in a tone of understanding, thats right youve been training all day. With a sigh, he grins and looks to her straight in the eye as he speaks, Im not going to lie to you, Im going to peek, but I have no problems with helping you. Walking towards the bathroom door, he thinks, by the looks of her, she doesnt have anything to be shy about. Reaching her he then comments, Im just joking how do you want to do this? He figured if she kept her back to him, that would be modest enough. He was prepared to be told to wear a blind fold or something like that.

She just looked at him and giggled a bit. "You can look, it will make things a lot easier if you can see what you are doing. Then if you accidentally touch, you cannot blame it on the fact you cannot see." She teased him gently. Sera was offering him a very valuable gift, trust. She would not just trust anyone to help her with this. Especially not Yuki. But she glanced down at the shirt she was wearing and sigh. "Perhaps it might be easy to cut it off? Gravity seems to be working against me so holding my arms up would hurt to much. I might be able to hold them out if you want to try and pulled it off with me bent over. But that might hurt more in the long run." Her eyes glanced up at his a bit sheepishly and totally innocently she said, "The easiest way is to just destroy my shirt. And thank you for letting me borrow yours. I promise it will get returned and not shredded." Her eyes sparkled as she began to blush at the thought of baring all to the man in front of her. "unless you have a better idea?"
